Hello from everyone at Number1Plates
We would like to give everyone an update on the goings on at Number 1 Plates as we all try to navigate this difficult period in time. We are happy to say that we are still open and functioning as normal, meaning you can still get your orders on next day delivery.
All of us here are doing our best to ensure that your products are getting to you quickly, but also safely and in a clean, worry-free manor. Here are some of the changes in place since the inception of the recent Government regulations:
Royal Mail Contactless Delivery
As you may already be aware, for deliveries that cannot be posted or require signing, the Royal Mail are opting for a social distancing approach. They are allowing at least a two meter gap and asking for your surname rather than having you sign yourself.
Free Delivery For NHS Staff
As a small thanks for the fantastic work that the NHS have done and continue to do during this pandemic we are offering to reimburse the delivery costs for all NHS staff. All you need to do is send your NHS ID into us once you have placed your order, and our helpful customer service staff will ensure that this is reimbursed for you at the soonest opportunity.
Working Conditions at Number 1 Plates
As have many companies during this time, we have taken precautionary measures to ensure we are inline with Government’s recommendations. This includes:
- Reductions In Staff Numbers
- Members of Staff Working From Home
- Social Distancing
- Staggered Shift Patterns
- One Dispatch Collection Daily
- Hand Sanitiser and Disinfectant Usage
We have also closed our from counter which has meant we have removed the option to collect order from our shop directly. This is for the safety of both you and our staff at this time.
As always, our aim is to fulfil your orders as quickly and efficiently as possible. We are keeping a keen eye on the ongoing changes and will adhere to them in order to keep everybody safe. We would also like to thank you for shopping with us!
