Step 1. Enter the registration number you want to take off

Step 2. Enter Your Latest V5C registration certificate (log book) document reference number

Step 3. Keeper postcode The postcode of the registered keeper as it appears on the V5C registration certificate (logbook)

Click Next  You’ll be asked to confirm the keeper details, check, and proceed.

Payment Information 

Enter your billing information and place your order, an £80 fee applies.

Retention Certificate

Once you’ve clicked pay, your application will be confirmed. You’ll receive a link to download your eV948 – Your registration will now be reverted to your existing number, so you’ll need to get new plates made up. Use your eV948 as proof of entitlement for purchasing replacement plates.
